When you look at a map, you can trace a journey; perhaps between where you live and where a beloved relative or friend lives far away, or between where you moved from and where you live now, or even where your parents met. Museum Educator Lola Chen will be talking about journeys, geography, family and friends while the kids work on their simple needlework project, sewing a heart on a stenciled USA map. The children will help make their own snack, raspberry heart cookies.
