Presented in partnership with DAR

Rendezvous with Rachel Revere takes viewers back to May 2, 1775. Rachel Revere has heard from her beloved husband Paul only once since his legendary midnight ride on the 18th of April. Still isolated from one another due to the Siege of Boston, Rachel desperately creates a plan which will safely take her children: six step-children from Paul’s first marriage and a newborn baby of their own, from the reach of the British Regular Army besieging Boston. HAP Founder and Artistic Director Judith Kalaora is Rachel Revere— wife to Paul Revere and a Founding Mother of an American Republic. In this approximately one-hour presentation on April 16 at 7 pm, the audience assists Rachel as she carefully considers the dangers and demands of their escape plan. Find out if Rachel is successful in her perilous mission to unite her family, amidst the wake of an American Revolution. Includes real-time Q&A with the audience, and an educational talk. Suitable for all ages. No charge. This one-time-only free event is generously sponsored by the Drum Hill Chapter NSDAR, and presented with Community Partner Wilton Historical Society.
