Welcome back friends and neighbors!

We are so pleased to re-open our doors to you!  The exhibition galleries are open, and small group guided tours in the period rooms will be available later this year. Now is a great time to stop in to see the exhibition “Remembering Dave: A Brubeck Family Album” which will be up through July 31.

Your Safety Is Top of Mind:

We have worked diligently to make the museum safe for visitors, staff and volunteers.

Please note that masks, hand sanitizer use and social distancing are required. Grandma’s Kitchen, a touch exhibition, will reopen soon. The Betts Store Museum Shop is open.

We were grateful and honored to welcome Dr. Sten Vermund, Dean of the Yale School of Public Health, a noted epidemiologist and COVID expert to the Museum Complex on April 3. Working with the Shoreline Arts Alliance to share science based information and best practices, and practical advice for arts organizations in Connecticut, Dr. Vermund  walked through our spaces and commented on our readiness to safely welcome the public. “I am very impressed by the planning and precautions being taken by leadership here at the museum,” he said.
