The Wilton Historical Society’s popular chocolate making workshop returns for another year! On Saturday, February 11th from 11:00 – 12:00, participants will be able to make their very own Valentine’s Day chocolates using a wide variety of molds to produce delicious holiday treats. Kids will also have the opportunity to create and decorate a box take them home in. Vintage Valentine’s cards from the Society’s collection will be on display for inspiration! Register now and don’t miss out!
Suggested for ages 6 – 10. Members: $15 per child; Non-members $20 per child.

While Valentine’s Day has been considered a celebration of love since the Middle Ages, it wasn’t until candy maker Richard Cadbury sold Valentine’s day specific chocolates for the first time in the 1860’s, that chocolate became part of the annual traditions of the holiday.
