#GivingTuesdayNow is a new global day of giving and unity that takes place today,
May 5, as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.

Your local history museum, the Wilton Historical Society, had been counting on Objects of Desire: Style for the Garden and Home spring fundraising show to carry us through the end of the fiscal year in September.  The event was cancelled due to COVID-19, and there is now a gaping hole in our operating budget.

Wilton schools depend on the Historical Society for hands-on history field trips; the museum provides exhibitions, lectures, a book discussion group; and the organization cares for 18 historic historic buildings on three campuses.  Providing all this is our joyful mission, but we need your support,
now more than ever.
