Colonial Tavern Night

COLONIAL TAVERN NIGHT IS BACK!

By popular demand, the Wilton Historical Society is thrilled to announce the return of Colonial Tavern Night. Join us for an evening of great food, drinks, games, and trivia!

Taverns and inns were an integral part of 18th century Wilton, serving as restaurants, bars, rest stops for weary travelers, and community centers. These businesses were so vital that for a time, Connecticut colonial law actually required several towns to have at least one tavern open. On October 5th, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, the Wilton Historical Society will party like its 1779 by hosting its own one night only tavern at the museum!

New this year – celebrate Wilton with an add-on of a custom engraved pint glass to use at the event! Limited supply, purchase yours now!
