An interesting, centrally located site with historic charm, beautifully maintained grounds, and modern conveniences can be found at the Wilton Historical Society, which offers for rental a number of spaces for parties, receptions, showers, weddings, club events, business meetings, and memorial services. The buildings in the museum complex are designated as Historic District Number #5 in the town of Wilton, and consist of five attractive buildings from the 18th and 19th century, plus a lovely herb garden.
The Burt Barn Gallery, the Sloan Gallery, and the Abbott Barn, as well as the 1740 Colonial Herb Garden can be rented. Period rooms in the Betts House (red) and the Fitch House (gray) are also available.

The Burt Barn Gallery
The Burt Barn Gallery, with exposed antique beams, is a contemporary space within a historic framework. Suitable for larger groups, up to 100.
*Please note: This space has limited availability due to Society exhibitions and programs. Burt Barn Gallery rentals are closed between October and January, and may have reduced capacity from May through October.
The Sloan Gallery
On the first floor of the Fitch House (gray) the Sloan Gallery is an intimate, charming space, with natural light and access to a small porch. Appropriate for about 20.
The Abbott Barn
The red 1860 Abbott Barn, with soaring post and beam construction, will provide a historic setting for your event. Accommodates approximately 40.
The 1740 Colonial Herb Garden
At its peak in the summer, the garden is filled with scented, flowering plants which provide an appealing setting for pre-event drinks, photo ops, and garden parties.
