Donate Your Corporate Taxes to The Wilton Historical Society
When corporations donate through Connecticut’s Neighborhood Assistance Act, every dollar you give is subtracted from your state tax bill. This means companies can make generous donations with no changes to their bottom line.
Changing History since 2019
Our lead donors, Wilton Re, Santa Energy, Eversource, and ConnectiCare together have donated over $150,000 to us since 2019 — with no change to their bottom lines. This has allowed us to keep our 19 historic buildings preserved and increase their energy efficiency through new roofs and new HVAC systems.
Celebrate 300 Years of History by Supporting Our Most Ambitious
Preservation Project Yet
The Wilton Historical Society is launching our broadest reaching preservation effort in decades: a $120,000 campaign to protect and repair three of Wilton’s most historic buildings, including Lambert House, which celebrates its 300th anniversary next year.
Since 1938, we’ve been committed to preserving Wilton’s heritage. Today, our historic buildings don’t just tell stories, they’re active parts of community life. From Pilates classes at Cannon Corner to holiday shopping and haircuts at Lambert Corner, our campuses bring history into daily life.
This Project Includes:
- Replacing three aging climate control units at Cannon Corner
- Repairing large sections of the cedar shingle roof at Lambert Corner
- All work done by craftsmen with experience in buildings 150–300 years old
These aren’t cosmetic upgrades, they’re essential to preserving the integrity and function of these irreplaceable sites.

“We try to give back where we can and the NAA program is a great way to do it. More local businesses should take advantage of this program to support our nonprofit organizations that do so much for us.”
