Weaving Workshop for Adults

New England has had a rich textile history. It has included weaving from Colonial times to industrial production in factories. Be a part of that history and learn how to weave on a small loom at the Wilton Historical Society. Participants will be weaving their very own unique and beautiful scarf, just in time for the fall and winter seasons. Instructor Ellen Goldman is an experienced weaver, textile enthusiast, and active member of the Handweavers’ Guild of Connecticut.

This four part series will take place on consecutive Thursdays: September 5, 12, 19, and 26, from 7 to 9 PM at the Wilton Historical Society.

Wilton Historical Society Members $60; Non-members $75. Fee is for all four classes and includes all materials. Call 203-762-7257 or email info@wiltonhistorical.org with any questions.

Class Space is limited. Registration is required.
